Sindh Suspends Classes from Grade 1 to 8 until 1 May

Until Sunday, Regional Education Minister Saeed Ghani declared that the Sindh Government would suspend grade 1 to grade 8 schools.

Initially, the government postponed 1-8 grades two weeks from 6 April. But suspension in the entire province has also been extended to both public and private schools.

Saeed Ghani said on Twitter that the decision was made to due to increase in coronavirus infections. According to him, educational institutions will keep studying students online, through homework and other sources.

The Minister has stated that classes for grades 9, 10, 11 and 12 will resume at schools and universities, with 50 percent attendance.
