KARACHI: Sindh Health Department has decided to create numerous mobile vaccination stations in the city to urge more and more people to be vaccinated against COVID-19.
According to the Sindh Health Department, two mobile vaccination units each would function in the South, West, East, and Keamari districts, adding that three of these units will be set up in the Central district while another in Malir district.
“These vaccine units will travel to wherever the public want them inside in the specified districts,” stated the Parliamentary Secretary on Health Qasim Soomro.
He stated that the mobile units will be dispatched to the affected districts by tomorrow Wednesday.
While clarifying the features of the planned units, Soomro added that the units will have ample supply of the anti-coronavirus vaccine and other amenities such as registration for inoculation.
Sindh to Begin Mobile Vaccination Program
Sindh government spokesman, Murtaza Wahab had launched the first mobile vaccination facility in Federal B Area in Karachi on Monday. The door-to-door immunization services have to commence in Karachi starting today.
A door-to-door immunization program was introduced to start functioning in one district of Karachi. Murtaza Wahab had claimed attempts were being made to commence mobile immunization in all areas of the city shortly. He had stated that mobile immunization programs will make life simpler for all residents.
